Shilo 3D
"George Bush riding a missile"
The Brief
The brief for this project was to create a 3D exhibition stand for the American post production and advertising agency Shilo. Shilo has a culture that stems from American subculture such as the punk and skateboarding scene found in New York and Los angeles.
Rationale
The style and architecture of the exhibition stand reflects Shilo’s culture, which is done by making use of skatepark inspired ramps and curves, additionally the stand has an open air feel to it rather than being a boxed in and claustrophobic space.
The stand also features a graffiti style graphic on it’s walls. This graphic made up of the three colours of the America flag and features various figures and pop-culture icons that are satirized in various ways, such as George Bush riding a missile.
Backstory
“This project was my first real attempt at using 3D software; the biggest challenge was working within a set space and setting up the lights. Learning how to set up the lights in the scene took a while but i feel as though it paid off in the end.”
